MEET THE FOUNDERS.

Pastor Rashard, born and raised in Miami, FL  alongside his wife, Courtney, founded Connect Church in 2025. They met in 2009 and later married in February of 2016. Pastor Rashard and his wife, Courtney have been ministering together for over a decade as worship leaders and teachers of the Gospel. Pastor Rashard answered his call to Pastor in October 2018, when he was ordained by his father, Bishop James E. Wright, Jr. Since then, Pastor Rashard has been doing the work of the Kingdom, facilitating House Worship, House Huddles (small group bible study sessions within the home), as well as hosting community worship gatherings featuring original worship music that God has anointed him to write.  In 2022, Pastor Rashard joined the Send Network and set out to officially plant Connect Church.  He has a vision to see pure and authentic worship bring people close to God so that they may establish a lifelong connection with God and with others.
